Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing new products from development to fullscale production. You will partner closely with Product Industrialization, Quality, and Operations teams to define manufacturing requirements, improve production processes, implement design changes, install new equipment, and optimize Capex investments. This is a highimpact role for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

Your Role

  • Contribute to mechanical design, development, and optimization of production equipment and tooling.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and validate mechanical components using CAD and simulation tools.
  • Evaluate mechanical designs for robustness, ergonomics, durability, thermal performance, and reliability.
  • Drive mechanical improvements to equipment to enhance performance, reduce downtime, and support highvolume manufacturing.
  • Lead PDLM subprojects and ensure smooth transfer from design to manufacturing.
  • Define production requirements and support factory readiness for new products.
  • Review and update Quality Control Plans and Work Instructions for compliance and safety.
  • Support equipment installation, process rampup, and troubleshooting using PLC/automation knowledge.
  • Drive design changes and process improvements across the product lifecycle.
  • Implement Lean initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and resource utilization.
  • Optimize Capex for recurring equipment and ensure seamless integration of new tools.

You're the right fit if: (4 x bullets max)

  • Master's degree in mechanical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, EHS, PLM, process improvement, DFM, and CAPA.
  • Handson experience in equipment installation, mechanical design, automation, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement independently with strong project management skills.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
