Mandarin Translator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mandarin Translator, located in Kalimantan. The Mandarin Translator will be responsible for accurately translating written and verbal communications from Mandarin to Bahasa and vice versa. Day-to-day tasks will include interpreting conversations, translating documents, and assisting with cross-cultural communication. The translator will also be responsible for ensuring that meanings and contexts are accurately conveyed in translations, maintaining technical and legal precision in translated content, and supporting communication efforts within the company.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and Bahasa, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
• Experience with document translation and conversation interpretation
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in translation
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to effectively convey them in translations
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Relevant university degree or certification in Translation Studies or a related field
• Previous translation experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
