Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid position for a Mandarin Teacher based in Jakarta, involving both in-person and virtual instruction. The Mandarin Teacher will be responsible for delivering structured and interactive lesson plans, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs, and fostering an engaging and practical learning environment. Additional responsibilities include assessing students progress, and supporting their language development through continuous feedback and guidance.

Qualifications

• Expertise in lesson planning and Chinese language teaching
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students
• Solid knowledge of education and teaching methodologies
• Proficiency in Mandarin (HSK Level 5 or 6 preferred)
• Graduates from universities in China or Taiwan are highly preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented, patient, fun, and easygoing personality with a passion for teaching
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification is a plus
