Mandarin Staff

PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia (MTI) is a joint venture between PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (80%) and Eternal Tsingshan Group Limited (20%). The MTI factory, located in the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) in Central Sulawesi, will process high-quality waste ore and pyrite ore from the Wetar Copper Mine. With a nominal capacity of over 1 million tonnes per year, the MTI plant converts ore into products such as sulfuric acid, saturated steam, iron ore pellets, copper sponge, lead-zinc hydroxide, dor gold, and silver.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mandarin Staff member, located in Morowali. The Mandarin Staff will be responsible for facilitating communication between Mandarin-speaking and Indonesian-speaking employees, translating documents and conversations, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting the overall operations of the plant. Daily tasks will include attending meetings, translating technical documents, and providing language assistance in various departments.

• Fluency in Mandarin and Indonesian (both written and verbal)
• Experience in translation and interpreting in a professional setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
• Experience in the mining or manufacturing industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in languages, translation, or a related field
