Job Description
Job Purpose and Impact
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all maintenance activities including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on factory machines and equipment. You will analyze machine breakdowns and take swift, effective corrective actions, while ensuring strict adherence to occupational health and safety (K3) standards and maintenance SOP. The role also involves preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports on maintenance activities, machine downtime and improvement recommendations, as well as driving continuous improvement through modifications or upgrades to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.

Key Accountabilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of contractors involved in maintenance.
- Ensure all work is performed in line with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Oversee and monitor the proper execution of the Maintenance Program (MP) according to Cargill Job Aid.
- Maintain equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to uphold compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide training to team members by sharing knowledge and experience, especially in PM/PDM programs.
- Contribute to the development of departmental budgets and ensure adherence to cost-control measures.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex issues and deliver solutions for operational improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum education of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Assistant, preferable in palm oil mill.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
