About the role
The Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor is responsible for maximizing asset uptime and performance across a cluster of depots, covering both EV mobile carts and production machines. This role leads a team of Technicians, drives preventive maintenance discipline, and owns the response time, lead time, and availability KPIs that keep Jagoan and depot production running without disruption.
Responsibilities
- Cart Maintenance & Uptime Management: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all EV mobile carts within the coverage area, ensuring maximum cart availability and reliability for daily Jagoan operations.
- Production Machine Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of production machines/equipment at depots, ensuring availability, reliability, and consistent performance to avoid production downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for carts and production machines, shifting the team from reactive to proactive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
- Response & Repair Time Management: Ensure timely response and repair completion when assets break down, driving strong Response Time and Lead Time performance.
- Technician Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and supervise Technicians, including scheduling, task assignment, and building their technical (hard) and soft skill capability.
- SOP Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure maintenance and repair work follows SOP, and audit/monitor work quality to maintain safety and reliability standards.
- Asset Data & Reporting: Track and report asset availability %, response time, and lead time metrics to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager; maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Spare Parts & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate spare parts inventory and third-party vendors/workshops as needed to support timely repairs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with GA (asset procurement & deployment), Depot Ops Excellence, and Jagoan Excellence teams to align maintenance schedules with depot and Jagoan operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum D3/S1 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or technical operations, including supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems (experience with EV vehicles or production machines is a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Familiar with maintenance tracking tools and Google Workspace
- Able to work across multiple depot locations
Additonal Requirement
- Willing to work flexible, including field visits across depots
- Experience maintaining EV vehicles or similar mobile equipment is a strong plus
- Own vehicle and valid driving license preferred for depot travel
