About the Role

Developing internal litigation team to handle litigation cases, both criminal and civil by considering the materiality, and the complexity of the cases.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Legal in handling litigation and pre-litigation cases
  • Preparing, drafting, and reviewing legal responses of complaints addressed by Lawyer/Legal Consultant on behalf of Customers or legal notice from others.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders, and relevant government authorities regarding ongoing or potential legal disputes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree of Law
  • At least 1-2 years working experience as in-house counsel (corporate/litigation function) from financial institutions and/or corporate lawyer in reputable law firm, preference has exposure to insurance industry
  • Prior experience coordinating with external counsel and managing legal documentation.
  • Experienced drafting and reviewing skills for legal documents and responses.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance and legal risk management.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
  • Willing to take 3-months contract
