Job Description
We are assisting a client in the Electric scooter manufacturer in hiring a Legal Manager who will be responsible for managing the company's legal matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic legal advice to support business operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to management and internal stakeholders on corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier agreements, distribution agreements, partnership agreements, and service contracts.
- Ensure the company's operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly within the manufacturing and automotive sectors.
- Manage corporate legal documentation, including corporate governance matters, licenses, permits, and regulatory filings.
- Handle and coordinate disputes, claims, and litigation matters, working closely with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Support the business in risk identification and mitigation, ensuring legal risks are properly assessed and managed.
- Provide legal support in business expansion initiatives, partnerships, and strategic projects.
- Develop and implement internal legal policies, compliance frameworks, and contract management processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, finance, and business development to ensure legal alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide updates on legal and compliance implications to the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university.
- Minimum 68 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to manufacturing, automotive, or industrial sectors.
- Experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and dispute management.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate and commercial regulations.
- Experience working in-house or with law firms handling corporate or manufacturing clients is preferred.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
