As a
Legal Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks, and supporting business growth through sound legal advice.
- Provide legal advice to management and cross functional teams (e.g., Commercial, Marketing, HR)
- Support new business initiatives from a legal and compliance perspective
- Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies to support business growth
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of various legal documents, including commercial contracts and agreements
- Ensure all contract terms are aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management considerations
- Maintain and manage contract database and tracking system
- Ensure company compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations
- Oversee the management and organization of legal records, ensuring completeness and proper documentation
- Manage legal disputes and litigation cases
- Develop and implement internal policies and legal SOPs
- Promote legal awareness and compliance culture within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Minimum 7 years of relevant legal experience (law firm and/or in-house)
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and compliance
- Experience in FMCG, beauty, or tech industry is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
