Job Description

Lead Organization Design & Workforce Strategy Specialist

Role Purpose

The Lead, Organization Design & Workforce Strategy is the technical architect responsible for translating the company's strategic vision into actionable organizational structures and data-driven workforce plans. This role acts as a critical partner to the Head of HCBP, taking high-level business directions and converting them into precise functional designs, job architectures, and long-term talent roadmaps.

We are seeking a dynamic professional who brings a progressive and analytical perspective from a large, complex corporate background. You must be a clear Owner of your work, capable of taking a strategic brief and independently building the frameworks required to execute it. This is a role for a strategic translator who bridges the gap between executive vision and ground-level Human Capital execution.

Core Responsibilities & Tactical Execution

  • Strategic Translation: Convert business directions into detailed organizational charts and functional designs that promote agility and lean operations.
  • Workforce Modeling: Lead the development of actionable workforce strategies by translating growth targets into concrete headcount, skill-gap, and capability roadmaps.
  • Total Rewards & Grading Integration: Execute the technical mapping of organizational designs onto the company's grading and compensation structures, ensuring all shifts are budget-aligned and internally equitable.
  • Pathway & Succession Implementation: Partner with Organizational Capability to translate organizational levels into functional career pathways and succession frameworks.
  • Data Governance: Serve as the technical custodian of organizational data, ensuring all structural changes are accurately reflected in the company's Source of Truth.

The Professional Profile

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a similarly technical/quantitative field. We prioritize the structured and critical thinking inherent in these disciplines.

Experience & Ownership:

  • 810 years of total professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience specifically in Organization Design, Transformation, or Strategy Consulting.
  • Proven Track Record as an Owner: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to independently lead and deliver end-to-end projects within large-scale, complex corporate environments.
  • Industry Agnostic: We value fresh, innovative perspectives from outside traditional heavy industries, provided they understand the complexity of a large organization.

The Hybrid Pedigree:

  • Consulting Experience (HR or Management): High proficiency in using logical frameworks and analytical depth for complex modeling.
  • In-house Corporate Experience: A practical understanding of how to implement and sustain internal structures within a business.

Technical Mastery:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Organization Design (OD) and Workforce Planning methodologies.
  • Beneficial Expertise: A background in Total Rewards (C&B) or a deep understanding of the grading and compensation implications of structural changes.

Core Values & Competencies

  • Mastery through Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying at the forefront of organizational modeling, workforce analytics, and industry trends.
  • Passion for Excellence & Innovation: A drive for high-precision technical output and the courage to propose innovative structural solutions.
  • Effective & Courageous Communication: The ability to explain technical designs to Business Leaders with clarity, poise, and data-backed logic.
  • Strategic Autonomy: A proactive partner who operates with high independence, delivering ready-to-review work for executive leadership.
  • DEI & Proactive Behavior: A commitment to ensuring structural fairness while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.

Why This Role

Reporting to the Head of HCBP & Total Rewards, you will have a direct hand in building the foundation of a leader in the Renewable Energy sector. This role provides exposure to Group-level strategy and significant visibility among Business Unit Leaders, offering a career-defining opportunity for an analytical mind to see their technical designs come to life through real-world implementation.
