Lead, IT Infrastructure and Operations

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
• Ensure compliance with IDX security codes and Maybank Group IT policies, including implementation of proper governance and documentation.
• Lead and guide the IT Infrastructure & Operations team, ensuring operational tasks are completed effectively and aligned with business priorities.
• Oversee change management, backup, and disaster recovery processes to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
• Support IT and digital projects, ensuring compliance with internal IT standards and smooth transition to BAU operations.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and auditors, addressing findings and ensuring timely resolution of audit issues.
• Implement and maintain network and system security, including patching, configuration, and monitoring of routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Prepare operational and compliance reports, providing updates to management and ensuring continuous improvement of infrastructure performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 9 years of IT experience, including 6 years in network engineering and 4 years in leadership or infrastructure management roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking (security & wireless), servers, storage, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, MS SQL Server, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Good understanding of Stock Brokerage Trading Systems and IT operations in a securities or financial institution.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management, peers, and subordinates, and perform well under pressure.
• Willingness to provide on-call escalation support and adapt to changing business needs.
