Position Summary

The Electrical Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for leading and managing all electrical maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Electrical Maintenance Management

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and documentation of preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all electrical systems, MCC panels, motors, VFDs, substations, instrumentation, and automation equipment operate at optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Maintain maintenance records, logs, and documentation in compliance with company standards.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of technicians and electricians.
  • Allocate manpower, assign daily tasks, and monitor work performance to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate with production, mechanical maintenance, engineering, and HSE departments for seamless operations.

3. Project & Improvement Initiatives

  • Lead electrical-related improvement projects including upgrades, modernization, and energy-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure timely execution of shutdown/turnaround activities with proper planning and resource allocation.
  • Participate in equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and reliability enhancement programs.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce compliance with electrical safety standards, permits, and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with Indonesian electrical regulations (PUIL, K3 Listrik) and their global HSE standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to mitigate electrical hazards.

5. Budgeting & Asset Management

  • Assist in preparing annual maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory planning, and cost control.
  • Review contractor performance and manage vendor/third-party services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in electrical maintenance in manufacturing, steel, mining, or heavy industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in managing electrical maintenance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC/automation systems, MV/LV electrical distribution, and industrial power systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) is a plus.
  • Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Willing to be placed in Cikande.
