Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key retail partners, buyers, category managers, and distributors.
  • Develop and implement account plans to increase distribution, shelf space, SKU assortment, and sell-through.
  • Own sales targets, forecasting, pipeline management, and margin performance for assigned accounts.
  • Plan and execute promotions, in-store activations, sampling, bundling, and seasonal campaigns tailored to moms and caregivers.
  • Coordinate with marketing, trade marketing, supply chain, logistics, and customer service to ensure product availability, correct merchandising, and timely launch execution.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, listing agreements, promotional funding, and contract renewals.
  • Monitor POS/POSM data, sell-through, inventory levels, and competitor activity; translate insights into action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety/labeling/regulatory requirements relevant to mom & baby products within accounts.
  • Resolve escalations, claims, and in-store issues promptly to maintain high account satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, account reviews, and presentations for senior management.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
  • Experience: 36 years in sales or account management in retail, preferably with mom & baby, babycare, FMCG, or pharmacy channels; experience managing national or regional key accounts preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales and distribution targets.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising, planograms, category management, and e-commerce marketplace operations.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical competency to interpret POS/sales data and create actionable plans (Excel competency required).
  • Familiarity with CRM and trade-promotion management tools.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, organized, and able to work cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to travel to account locations and trade events as needed.
