Role Description The Jewelry Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta. This role involves welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through jewelry selections that reflect Sol et Terre's sustainable values and product offerings. Day-to-day tasks include providing personalized styling and product recommendations, explaining the features and benefits of lab-grown gemstones, and supporting retail sales activities such as merchandising, inventory checks, and maintaining an organized, visually appealing store environment. The Jewelry Consultant will also handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and contribute to a positive, memorable in-store experience that encourages repeat visits and referrals. Collaboration with the store team to meet sales targets, share product feedback, and support events or promotions is an important part of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills with the ability to engage customers clearly and confidently.
• Demonstrated Customer Service and Customer Experience skills to create welcoming, professional interactions.
• Experience in Retail Sales, ideally in jewelry, fashion, or luxury goods.
• Basic understanding or interest in Jewelry Design, lab-grown gemstones, and sustainable luxury concepts.
• Ability to work on-site in Jakarta, including weekends or holidays as required for retail operations.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a professional, polished presentation.
• Comfort using point-of-sale systems and handling cash or electronic transactions accurately.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is preferred; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
