The IT Retail Solution Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, governance,
and continuous improvement of retail technology solutions that support business operations
and strategic initiatives. This role ensures all retail systems including ERP, POS, and other
retail applications are scalable, secure, cloud-ready, and aligned with business objectives
while delivering measurable value across the organization.
The role requires strong retail business understanding, hands-on ERP oversight, cloud
experience, vendor management capability, and strong English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Strategy & Architecture
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand retail operational requirements
and translate them into scalable IT solutions.
Design and oversee integrated system architecture across retail, supply chain, finance,
merchandising, and customer experience platforms.
Ensure alignment between ERP, POS, CRM, and other retail applications.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption aligned with retail
transformation initiatives.
Ensure solutions are cloud-ready and follow best practices in scalability, resilience, and
security.

2. ERP & Retail Application Management
Directly oversee ERP implementation, enhancement, and support activities.
Manage POS systems and other retail applications through internal teams and QA
functions.
Ensure system performance, reliability, and business continuity across stores and head
office.
Lead system optimization initiatives to improve retail efficiency and customer
experience.
Ensure proper QA governance across all retail technology releases.

3. Project & Delivery Management
Lead end-to-end solution delivery, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation,
and timeline management.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (developers, QA, vendors, and business users).
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Manage change management and rollout strategy across retail stores.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage relationships with external vendors, implementation partners, and service
providers.

5. Governance, Compliance & Security
Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory
requirements.
Maintain documentation and conduct system audits.
Ensure cybersecurity, data privacy, and cloud governance standards are enforced.
Implement best practices in cloud-native and Kubernetes-based deployments.

6. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor ERP, POS, and application teams including QA.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Build a high-performing retail IT capability.

Job Specification
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Master's degree or certifications (TOGAF, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 35 years in retail solution
architecture or retail IT management.
Strong experience managing ERP systems directly (preferably Oracle ERP or similar
enterprise platforms).
Experience overseeing POS systems and other retail applications.
Proven experience in retail or consumer-facing industries.
