About The Role
We are looking for an
IT Network Infrastructure Specialist to manage and optimize our organization's network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and securing our network environment across core, distribution, and access layers to ensure reliable and high-performing connectivity.
You will play a critical role in maintaining enterprise-grade network operations, from managing routing and switching to ensuring secure internet connectivity and wireless infrastructure. The role also involves monitoring network health, supporting audits and compliance requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation of the network ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with network systems, solving connectivity challenges, and ensuring the stability and security of IT infrastructure in a growing organization.
What You'll Do
Network Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain core network infrastructure including routing, switching, and firewall configurations
- Implement and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, including VLANs and both static and dynamic routing
- Manage core, distribution, and access layer switches to ensure optimal network performance
Wireless Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade wireless networks
- Manage WLAN controllers and perform heat mapping and RF interference troubleshooting
- Work with wireless technologies such as Aruba, Ruckus, or Cisco
Network Security & Edge Connectivity
- Configure and maintain Next-Generation Firewalls such as Fortinet, Cisco, or Sangfor
- Manage VPN environments, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs
- Support SD-WAN deployments and connectivity optimization
Internet Connectivity Management
- Manage relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISP)
- Ensure network resilience through redundant failover setups and bandwidth load balancing
Network Administration
- Administer and monitor network access accounts and policies
- Manage blocked sites and program tracking to enforce network usage policies
Monitoring, Audit & Compliance
- Monitor network performance using tools such as WhatsUp Gold, PRTG, Zabbix, Cacti, or Grafana
- Conduct regular network audits and ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or PCI-DSS
- Analyze network metrics including uptime, latency, and traffic patterns
Documentation & Asset Management
- Maintain accurate network topology diagrams and IP Address Management (IPAM) records
- Track network hardware lifecycle, including maintenance, migration, firmware updates, decommissioning, and license renewals
- Maintain change management logs for infrastructure updates and modifications
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience managing enterprise network infrastructure
- Strong understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, and firewall management
- Experience with enterprise wireless infrastructure deployment and optimization
- Hands-on experience with VPN, SD-WAN, and network security technologies
- Familiarity with network monitoring and logging tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, or Grafana
- Experience conducting network audits and supporting compliance requirements
- Proven experience handling office network setups, relocations, or full infrastructure refresh projects
- Professional networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MTCNA, or MTCRE are a plus
