Role Overview

The IT Head will lead the overall technology strategy, development, and operations of the companys credit scoring platforms. This role is responsible for driving innovation in AI/ML-based scoring models, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and building secure, scalable technology infrastructure. As a key member of the leadership team, the IT Head will collaborate with executives, regulators, and partners to strengthen the companys position as a leading credit scoring provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and execute the companys technology vision aligned with business and regulatory goals.
  • Lead innovation in AI/ML adoption, cloud infrastructure, and credit scoring models.
  • Define the long-term technology roadmap focusing on scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Product & Platform Development
  • Oversee end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scoring platforms, APIs, and SaaS products.
  • Ensure seamless integration of scoring models with financial institutions, lenders, and ecosystem partners.
  • Manage full product lifecycle: requirements, architecture, testing, release, and enhancements.
  • Data Management & Security
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies in compliance with OJK, BI, GDPR, and other standards.
  • Supervise secure pipelines for alternative and traditional data collection, storage, and analysis.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity and data protection practices for sensitive financial information.
  • Innovation & R&D
  • Explore and implement new methodologies in AI, ML, behavioral scoring, and open finance.
  • Assess emerging technologies such as blockchain, federated learning, and explainable AI.
  • Collaborate with research institutions, universities, and fintech ecosystems to drive continuous innovation.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Build and lead high-performing teams in engineering, data science, and IT operations.
  • Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with C-level executives to align technology with product and business strategies.
  • Operations & Performance
  • Monitor and optimize performance of scoring engines, APIs, and data accuracy.
  • Implement DevOps, automation, and hybrid cloud strategies to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Manage infrastructure costs and efficiency across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • External Relations
  • Act as a technical representative with regulators, clients, and industry stakeholders.
  • Support sales and business teams with technical expertise in pitches and client meetings.
  • Build partnerships with vendors, cloud providers, and fintech collaborators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or data-driven companies.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data-intensive systems.
  • Strong expertise in credit scoring models, AI/ML, and alternative data applications.
  • Solid knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance (OJK, BI, GDPR), and certifications such as ISO 27001.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and financial data protection standards.
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation in credit scoring methodologies.
  • Strategic and collaborative leader with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
