IT Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the delivery of digital and system enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and vendors to deliver system solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories.
• Support UAT planning, test execution, and issue resolution.
• Ensure solutions align with insurance business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and project workshops.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, policy administration, claims, or underwriting processes.
• Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and UAT.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with digital transformation or core insurance system projects.
• Familiarity with SQL, API integrations, and data analysis.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile certifications are an advantage.
