Job Purpose
To ensure accurate inventory control, efficient stock management, and system integrity using Odoo ERP, supporting smooth business operations and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
- Monitor daily stock movement (inbound & outbound) in Odoo ERP
- Ensure inventory data accuracy between physical stock and system records
- Conduct regular stock opname (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Investigate stock discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
- Manage FIFO / FEFO implementation
- Control slow-moving, aging, and dead stock
- Maintain minimum & maximum stock level
2. ERP (Odoo) System Control
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in Odoo
- Validate stock transfer, GRN, delivery orders, and adjustments
- Coordinate with IT / system team for ERP improvements
- Monitor system compliance and data discipline
3. Process Improvement
- Develop and implement inventory SOP
- Improve warehouse layout and storage efficiency
- Identify process gaps and propose improvement initiatives
- Support automation and digitalization projects
- Ensure team compliance with SOP & safety standards
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance, and Sales teams
- Prepare inventory reports:
- Stock accuracy
- Aging stock
- Stock turnover
- Shrinkage analysis
- Support internal & external audit processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, accounting, or related fields
- Experience in ERP system (Odoo preferred)
- Experience in warehouse / supply chain environment is a plus
- Prior experience in supervisory role is an advantage
