We are looking for an intermediate/senior insolvency accountant to join our team, based in BSD.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in Australian insolvency role, have good understanding of Australian insolvency practices and have the ability to proactively manage insolvency cases, including VAs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience;
- 1-3 years of experience in insolvency;
- Good understanding of Australian insolvency procedures;
- A desire to grow with the firm;
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Strong attention to detail and report writing skills;
- Excellent time-management, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; and
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting and insolvency software.
Job Descriptions
- Provide assistance with management and administration of insolvency cases;
- Prepare reports and statutory documentation in compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and other insolvency legislations;
- Conduct forensic financial analysis and investigations to identify assets and potential recoveries;
- Assist with realisation of assets and recovery actions for the benefit of creditors; and
- Communicate with various stakeholders (both written and verbal).
