Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, layouts, and material palettes that align with project narratives and client needs. Daily tasks include preparing presentations, coordinating with architects and consultants, and selecting finishes, furniture, and fixtures. The role involves conducting site visits and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with the design team and project stakeholders to deliver cohesive, context-aware interiors.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and visual presentation.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional, efficient, and aesthetically balanced layouts.
- Understanding of Architecture and its integration with interior design, including coordination with architectural teams.
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with suppliers.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) and 3D visualization tools.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial projects is an advantage.
