About Company

PT Grand Indonesia is a privately owned company and a subsidiary of Djarum Group, which manages four business units:

1. Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall, a premium shopping center that offers an International shopping experience and a wide range of fashion apparel, restaurants, and entertainment choices.

2. Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, a historic landmark hotel of Indonesia.

3. Kempinski Private Residences, a first-class serviced residential tower jointly managed with Kempinski Hoteliers.

4. Menara BCA, a 56 storey-premium-grade office tower that host multinational companies.

Currently PT. Grand Indonesia is looking for an Interior Design Assistant Manager with the following requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree majoring in Interior Design from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an interior designer in the design consultant/property industry/commercial/retail.
  • Proficiency in computer, especially design software, and programs, i.e., AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, 3DMax, Rendering (VRay/Lumion/Enscape), and other AI applications, MS Office, and MS Projects.
  • Proficiency in Indonesian and English language, both oral and written
  • Positive attitude, team collaborator, good sourcing skills, and eye for detailing.

Job Descriptions:

  • Undertake design project from concept to completion, including producing sample and mood boards, 2D and 3D drawings, visuals, and renderings.
  • Interpret and translate needs into rough plans and designs.
  • Research and decide on materials and product sourcing.
  • Define project requirements and schedules.
  • Provide bill of quantity and project fees according to budget.
  • Supervise work progress regularly and resolve any technical difficulties and any other problems that may arise.
  • Coordinate externally with architects, designers, and contractors on all issues about the design and construction phase and internally with the related department.
  • Ensure all assigned projects adhere to quality, health, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure the smooth progress and completion of projects within budget, time, and quality standards.
  • There will be opportunities to work in both areas of the business (interior and architecture/fit-out) within the corporate/building complex.
  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices.
