What you&aposll be doing :
- Work closely with the Manager in Singapore
- Develop insurance strategy for the Group.
- Conduct risk assessment analysis and implement business improvement strategies relating to insurance for the Group
- Ensure Groups corporate policy on insurance is systematically implemented at different business units
- Prepare annual insurance budget, track premium payments and report deviations to management.
- Facilitate risk presentation to brokers and/or insurers before each key renewal.
- Obtain, review and negotiate competitive terms and pricing with brokers and/or insurers.
- Analyse the renewal terms for each class of risk together with alternative cover and premium options where applicable.
- Explore alternative risk transfer and/or risk control and/or risk financing options where applicable.
- Establish and develop relationships with insurers, re-insurers and brokers.
- Develop independent insurance monitoring platform to enhance managements understanding of policies in force and facilitate decision-making.
- Develop claims tracking system and ensure claims and reimbursements are promptly made.
- Benchmarking with industry to assess reasonableness of Groups insurance policies.
- Update and maintain robust records of Group-wide insurance premiums, coverage and claims for reporting. Analyse trends and make recommendations to management to optimize policies.
- Regular review meetings and knowledge sharing with Business Units and Group management regarding developments in insurance market.
What we&aposre looking for :
- Bachelor&aposs degree in the related job field
- Minimum 3 years relevant commercial insurance experience
- Good understanding of insurance industry, fundamentals and regulations
- Possess Certification in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent
- Analytical with strong strategic planning capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in English both spoken and written
- Open to business travel
