With pioneering facility, Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia has succeeded to halve its carbon footprint and produce ultra-pure products under the brand of Unioleo.

We are welcoming high caliber professionals to come on board as part of our management team as the Innovation Assistant Manager, which offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior management and contribute to the company's growth

In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

1. Manage, assess, and monitor product lifecycle (e.g. creation, change, and deletion for raw material and product specification for oil and fatty acid).

2. Review trial protocol lab scale & pilot scale trials.

3. Execute plant scale trial for new product development.

4. Support manufacturing team to execute process improvement project by verifying process improvement impact to consumer safety, sustainability, product quality and economical investment/benefit.

5. Accountable for the assessment of stability and trace component in new product and/or packaging.

6. First point contact for any communication with global R&D for new system, policy, and regulation. Responsible to cascade the information to all related parties in the company.

7. Responsible of budget, operational schedule, team capability building, and KPI delivery.

8. Propose CAPEX, create business case, and do technical review for new plant development project.

Qualifications

  • Education: min. Bachelor degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.
  • Have in-depth knowledge in Oleochemical industry with minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Have expertise in formulating product, monitoring product stability, and doing process validation. Familiar with process technology, product characteristics, and analytical method applied in Oleochemical industry.
  • Familiarity with LIMS or SAP PLM would be a plus point.
