Information Technology Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software development and managed services projects from initiation to successful delivery.
• Define project goals, develop execution plans, and manage resources to meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (developers, QA, DevOps, support) by assigning tasks and maintaining schedules.
• Apply project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
• Monitor project progress, prepare regular status reports, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential issues and delays.
• Conduct regular project meetings to align stakeholders, resolve blockers, and ensure project alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing software development and/or IT managed services projects.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT service management (ITSM).
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and resolve project-related challenges efficiently.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git, MS Project, ServiceNow).
