Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead full project lifecycle delivery (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closing) for Core Banking initiatives.
  2. Develop and maintain project charter, detailed project plan, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and external vendors.
  4. Manage core banking system implementation or enhancement projects, including platforms such as Temenos T24 or similar solutions.
  5. Ensure project delivery aligns with regulatory requirements and internal audit standards.
  6. Proactively identify project risks, conduct impact analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
  7. Oversee SIT, UAT, data migration, Go-Live preparation, and post-implementation stabilization.
  8. Ensure seamless integration between Core Banking and surrounding systems (e.g., payment systems, digital banking platforms, and third-party integrations)

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in IT Project Management, with direct exposure to Core Banking System implementation or transformation projects
  3. Strong understanding of banking business processes including deposits, lending, payments, treasury, and regulatory reporting.
  4. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
  5. Experience working in highly regulated financial services environments.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
