PT Vision Ease Asia is currently seeking a highly capable and experienced professional to fill the position of Import Supervisor. This role plays a strategic function in ensuring all import activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable customs regulations while supporting the company's operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all import activities to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with Indonesian customs regulations
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of import documentation, including Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, and other supporting documents
- Handle and process import permits, including customs documentation such as BC 2.3
- Coordinate closely with external parties, including Customs (Bea Cukai), forwarders, shipping lines, and relevant authorities
- Monitor end-to-end import processes to ensure timely and smooth delivery of goods
- Evaluate and control the performance of vendors/forwarders
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting in line with internal and external audit requirements
- Lead, supervise, and develop the team to support import operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in customs clearance, export-import, logistics, or forwarding
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Indonesian Customs (Bea Cukai) procedures and import regulations is a must
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, particularly with external stakeholders such as Customs authorities
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, is an advantage
