We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Import Sales Executive based in Jakarta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Canvass cargo for all trades to get workable & accurate importer info feedback via weekly sales visit, entry weekly sales data in OVCRM/similar system, sending sales lead and update customer profiles & conditions in the system base on updated information received.
  • Maintain existing nominated client base and increase MSC presence/share in the market by expanding the scope of current client base.
  • Keep good relationship with import customers and always update the market situation and competitors activities to Import Sales Manager.
  • Promote MSC's services to clients and to identify new market and customer through market research.
  • Problem Solving by actively coordinate with internal and oversea offices to ensure smooth service provided to customers in timely manner.
  • Ad-hoc assignment from Import Sales Manager.
  • Monitoring FOB shipment negotiated to ensure smooth process from booking until arrive at POD.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any field.

2. Minimum 2 years in shipping/forwarding is as Import Sales.

3. Good team player, fast learner and innovative

4. Good English proficiency both verbal and written

5. Required Skill(s): communication, presentation, find and maintain relationship with customer, networking

6. Excellent negotiation and communications skills
