Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager (Operations) to manage end-to-end HR operational activities. This role is hands-on and focuses on day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, compliance, payroll oversight, and compensation & benefits.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operational and administrative activities.
- Ensure smooth execution of HR processes, policies, and procedures.
Employee & Industrial Relations (ER / IR)
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and terminations.
- Manage employee relations issues and support IR matters when required.
- Advise management on HR policies and employment matters.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external HR audits.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and records.
Payroll Management
- Oversee payroll operations (currently outsourced).
- Coordinate with payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Review payroll reports, statutory submissions, and resolve discrepancies.
Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
- Manage compensation and benefits processes.
- Conduct job evaluation and salary benchmarking exercises.
- Support annual bonus, salary review, and benefits administration.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist / HR Manager role.
- Strong hands-on experience in ER, IR, compliance, and HR operations.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian employment and labour laws.
- Experience managing outsourced payroll.
- Exposure to C&B, job evaluation, and salary benchmarking.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
