Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Bali, Indonesia

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, aligning HR strategies with business goals while driving operational excellence across HR functions. The role balances strategic workforce planning, talent development, and performance management with hands-on responsibilities in employee relations, compliance, and HR operations. It requires a dynamic HR professional with strong labor law knowledge, proven business partnering experience, and the ability to support a multi-site, fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with department heads and senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Analyze workforce needs and ensure talent acquisition strategies are in place to meet current and future organizational requirements.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by developing HR strategies that facilitate smooth transitions and align with business objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection, ensuring alignment with the company's recruitment policy.
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company and aligned with its values.
  • Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation, to ensure a smooth transition and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement training and development programs that support employee growth and organizational goals.
  • Provide career development opportunities, including coaching and mentoring, to support talent retention and advancement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and deliver leadership training programs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing HR-related concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Handle employee relations issues, conducting investigations and mediations as necessary.
  • Develop programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, supporting retention and productivity.
  • Execute HR-specific policies in alignment with the company's governance standards, collaborating with the Head of Corporate Affairs and Governance on intersecting areas.
  • Review payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies. Address payroll-related inquiries and issues as they arise.
  • Manage payroll processes for upper management, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timely payment. Work closely with finance to align payroll with overall compensation strategies.
  • Ensure HR activities comply with local labor laws and internal policies, coordinating with the Head of Corporate Affairs and Governance to align with broader governance requirements.
  • Analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to encourage diversity in the workplace, ensuring that recruitment and development practices are fair and inclusive. Focus on providing equal opportunities for all employees, aligning with the company's commitment to fairness and respect in the workplace.
  • Develop and oversee wellness programs that focus on employee well-being, including mental health support, stress management, and work-life balance initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall HR strategy.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other HR-related technologies. Ensure these tools effectively support HR processes and improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest HR trends and technologies, proposing innovative solutions to improve HR processes and employee experiences.
  • Work with leadership to identify and develop high-potential employees who can move into key roles as the organization grows or as current leaders transition out of their roles.
  • Work closely with the Head of Corporate Affairs and Governance to ensure that HR policies and practices are fully integrated with and support the company's corporate governance standards.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure consistent implementation of HR strategies across all locations, providing strategic guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law, HR best practices, and organizational development.
  • Experience in the food production or FMCG industry is a strong plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.s.
  • Fluent in english.
