About Our Client

Our client is a well-established and leading player in the agriculture industry with a strong global presence and vertically integrated operations across the value chain. With decades of experience, the company manages large-scale operations spanning plantation management, processing, and distribution, serving both domestic and international markets. As the organization continues to grow and transform, they are seeking an experienced HR professional to play a strategic role in strengthening their people and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Business Partnership: Act as the primary HR advisor to business unit leaders, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to align people strategies with business priorities. Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational capability, and leadership effectiveness to support sustainable business growth.
  • HR Policy Implementation & Governance: Oversee the implementation of human resources policies, programs, and best practices across the business units. Ensure HR initiatives are executed in accordance with company guidelines, business needs, and sound administrative and governance practices.
  • Organizational Development & Workforce Planning: Lead initiatives related to organizational design, role clarity, and workforce planning. Support business leaders in structuring teams effectively to enhance productivity, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Learning & Development Enablement: Work closely with leadership and HR centers of excellence to identify capability gaps and facilitate learning and development initiatives that strengthen leadership skills, technical competencies, and long-term organizational capability.
  • Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture: Actively engage employees and managers across business units to foster a positive work environment. Support initiatives that improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, ensuring alignment with the companys values and culture.
  • Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Serve as the first point of contact for managers and employees on complex HR matters including performance counseling, disciplinary processes, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution. Conduct investigations when necessary and ensure fair and consistent resolution of issues.
  • Performance Management Advisory: Provide guidance to leaders and managers on performance management practices, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and development planning to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements


  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Masters degree (MBA, HR, or Organizational Development) is highly preferred.
  • Professional Experience
    • 1015 years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist.
    • Experience working within large, established organizations or conglomerates, supporting complex business units and large employee populations.
    • Demonstrated experience implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support organizational growth and operational effectiveness.
    • Strong experience handling employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution in a structured corporate environment.
  • Leadership & Strategic Capabilities
    • Proven ability to advise and influence senior business leaders on HR and people-related matters.
    • Experience supporting organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives.
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on HR execution in a dynamic business environment.
  • Interpersonal & Analytical Skills:
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Has the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate HR insights into actionable business solutions.
