Baskit turns every medium and small-sized wholesaler into a super-powered mini-distributor by providing sales enablement software, go-to-market services, and supply chain financing.

We are hiring: HR Manager

We are looking for an HR Manager who can effectively manage all aspects of human resources business partnering, with a specific focus on talent acquisition and employee lifecycle management. If you have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of local labor regulations, a passion for fostering a positive work environment, and a love for growing startups and developing people, we want to hear from you! This role will report to the Head of Corporate Services and manage an HR specialist.

IMPORTANT: We are only considering candidates who are Indonesian citizens and able to commute to our BSD office.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment

  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian Labor Laws
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, sourcing, and recruitment with a focus on finding exceptional candidates
  • Utilize effective negotiation skills to attract and secure top talent within the allocated budget
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and align recruitment strategies with the company&aposs growth objectives

People Development and Succession Planning

  • Work alongside business Heads and Managers in doing medium and long-term Manpower Planning and People Development to support business expansion
  • Plan for a sustainable workforce across various key functions and seniority levels
  • Identify High-Potential individuals, propose and implement an effective Development Plan (including learning program, coaching, mentoring)
  • Maintain a Succession Plan that is able to support the business needs timely as well as provide a workforce that is agile enough to support new business expansion

Employee Relations and Culture

  • Regularly review and propose improvements for business processes and organizational structure to achieve organizational efficiency
  • Devise an effective retention program for strong performers through competitive compensation, benefits, as well as timely career progression and holistic personal development
  • Provide support during the key discussion, process, and holistic conversation, as well as career advice to employees and help them develop and grow within the organization
  • Facilitate employee disciplinary actions and grievance handling
  • Promote Company Values and maintain a positive work environment
  • Uphold the Company Code of Conduct and Company&aposs Policy and instill disciplinary actions in the event of a breach, and review/revise HR policies as needed

Payroll & Compliance

  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with company policy and government regulations
  • Manage statutory contributions, reporting, and payroll audits
  • Ensure alignment between payroll data and HR records, including promotions, bonuses, terminations, and leave tracking
  • Coordinate with Finance and external vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience working with business Heads and/or Managers
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with high empathy
  • High adaptability and open-mindedness to changes
  • Passion for people and advancements beyond business-as-usual (BAU) projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Good understanding and alignment with the Company Values
  • Bahasa Indonesia (Native), English (Fluent)
