Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disputes promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, employment standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain statutory records (wages, attendance, leave, contracts)
  • Handle inspections and audits from labor authorities
  • Act as the primary liaison between management and unions
  • Participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
  • Manage union agreements, contracts, and implementation of settlements.
  • Implement disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently
  • Coordinate with legal advisors for disputes, court cases, and notices.
  • Represent the organization in labor court or dispute resolution forums.
  • Maintain accurate records of negotiations, disciplinary actions, and meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, or related field.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, plant, or factory environments.
  • Prior exposure to union handling, disciplinary actions, and IR compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with statutory audits and government inspections.
  • Strong understanding of Labour Laws, Union relations and collective bargaining
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving & decision-making skills
  • Ability to liaise with labor authorities, unions, and legal teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
