Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for all Indonesia-based roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding
  • Partner with line managers to define role requirements, build talent pipelines, and deliver quality hires within target timelines
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies via LinkedIn, Jobstreet, referrals, and local talent networks
  • Build and maintain Bluefocus's employer brand presence in the Indonesian market
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, source effectiveness) to management and HQ

HR Business Partnering

  • Serve as the trusted HR advisor to Indonesia business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and people matters
  • Support performance management cycles — goal-setting, mid-year check-ins, and annual reviews — ensuring consistency and fairness
  • Handle employee relations matters including disciplinary processes, grievances, and separations in full compliance with Indonesia labour law
  • Partner with managers to drive employee engagement, identify retention risks, and implement targeted interventions
  • Support the rollout of Group-wide HR initiatives and policies, adapting them appropriately to the local context

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain the local Employee Handbook, employment contracts, and HR SOPs
  • Maintain accurate HR records and personnel documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the regional COE team on compensation benchmarking, benefits administration, and payroll inputs

Office Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations: facilities, vendor management, procurement, and general admin
  • Manage work pass applications and renewals (Employment Pass, Dependent Pass) for expatriate employees
  • Liaise with company secretary, legal counsel, and government authorities as needed

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 5–8 years of HR experience with a strong track record in both recruitment and HR business partnering
  • Experience supporting a new entity setup or operating in a lean/startup HR environment is strongly preferred
  • Background in media, advertising, marketing services, or technology industries is an advantage

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment independently across functions and seniority levels
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; comfortable engaging with both local teams and regional/HQ counterparts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English & Indonesian. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage given regular collaboration with China-based HQ
