Hotel General Manager

We are seeking an accomplished General Manager with proven resort experience and a strong sales and business development background to lead our ultra-luxury 5-star resort in Bali. We are also open to a top-performing Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) in the ultra-luxury space who is ready to step up into a General Manager role. The ideal candidate will combine operational leadership with commercial drive, an ability to cultivate high-value client relationships, and a vision to strengthen the resorts global positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of resort operations, ensuring seamless delivery of the highest standards of luxury and guest experience.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel agents, operators, and VIP clientele.
  • Work directly with ownership to align on vision, financial objectives, and long-term strategy.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to ownership on sales performance, market opportunities, and operational priorities.
  • Lead and inspire the management team to deliver excellence across all departments.
  • Create collaborations with luxury brands, media, and influencers to expand the resorts global presence.
  • Drive direct bookings through digital channels, SEO, and targeted campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • 812 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, either as a General Manager or a strong Director of Sales & Marketing ready to step up.
  • Proven success in the ultra-luxury market with established global networks in high-end travel and hospitality.
  • Solid background in resort operations and sales, with hands-on experience in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue while ensuring operational excellence.
  • Energetic, forward-looking leader with the ability to inspire teams and deliver results.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
