Hotel Business Development Manager
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop opportunities to expand the company's 3-star and above hotel portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with hotel owners, property owners, investors, developers, and other potential business partners.
- Source and evaluate potential hotels/properties for management, partnership, lease, or other applicable business models.
- Conduct preliminary assessment of property potential, market positioning, competition, and commercial viability.
- Prepare business proposals, financial/business cases, and partnership recommendations for management review.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with prospective property partners.
- Coordinate feasibility assessment and due diligence with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Engineering, and Legal teams.
- Manage the business development pipeline from initial lead through agreement and handover to the pre-opening/operations team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of Business Development, Hotel Development, Acquisition, or related commercial experience.
- Strong experience within the 3-star and above hotel segment is required.
- Experience working with hotel owners, property developers, investors, or hotel management companies is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of hotel business models, hotel operations, market feasibility, property economics, and commercial evaluation.
- Strong network within the hospitality, property, or real estate industry is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, financial/business analysis, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
