Head of Technical Planning & Design

Job Descriptions:

1. Define and Develop Project Design Concepts. (leading the development of design concepts, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer demands, sales and marketing strategies, construction cost and project timelines.)

2. Oversee the project design for Commercial products (product design concepts, working drawings, and tender documentation in accordance with project schedules and quality standards.)

3. Support feasibility study (preparing, reviewing, and providing relevant technical data to support construction budgeting and decision-making processes.)

4. Propose alternative materials and specifications for consideration in determining the standard costing.

5. Review of project master schedule, contract plan and completeness of tender document.

6. Liaise with consultants (e.g. Housing, infra, MEP, Architect) to review and finalize technical specifications; including site plans, schematic designs, and detailed technical drawings.

7. Prepare and monitor the department's operational technical planning budget.

8. Review and assess periodic technical planning reports to ensure performance tracking, continuous improvement, and strategic alignment with project objectives.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree preferably majoring in Architecture.

2. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the property or real estate development industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role within a technical or design planning function.

3. Proven managerial capabilities with strong leadership, team coordination, and project management skills.

4. Proficient in design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

5. Strong creative thinking and design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics, functionality, and innovation in architectural design.
