About the Role
As Head of Security (Operations), you will be responsible for ensuring that Rukita properties are safe, secure, and well-managed, maintaining a zero-incident environment while supporting a welcoming, hospitality-driven experience for all tenants and owners. You will lead the overall security operation day-to-day across all properties, ensuring responsiveness and proactive prevention of any potential safety or security risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee all on-ground security operations to align with Rukita company objectives and operational realities.
- Lead, manage, and coach the property-level security team for in-house or outsourced across all properties.
- Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, and emergency services.
- Implement and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safety, emergency response, and tenant security.
- Conduct security audits, inspections, and training across properties to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Manage vendor partnerships (security agencies, outsource) to ensure performance and cost efficiency - if any.
- Act as the primary escalation point for any security-related incidents, investigations, and emergency responses.
- Ensure all incidents are properly documented, analyzed, and followed up with preventive actions.
- Lead the emergency preparedness plan (fire, natural disaster, health, or other emergencies).
- Promote a hospitality-driven security culture, ensuring guards and staff are trained to handle tenants respectfully and professionally.
- Handle sensitive situations tactfully, maintaining discretion and trust.
Requirements
- Minimum 810 years of experience in security management, preferably from hospitality, property management, or facility operations.
- Proven experience leading multi-site security operations, experience with handle blue collar workers is a plus, prior experience working with or managing third-party security vendors is a plus.
- Strong Hands-on leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent understanding of local regulations and best practices in safety and security.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, with integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
