Job Description:

  • Lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function, driving both Strategic Risk (business advisory) and Operational Risk (risk assessment & mitigation) initiatives across the organization.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive, enterprise-wide risk management strategies aligned with corporate objectives, covering financial, operational, compliance, reputational, and strategic dimensions.
  • Advise and partner with business units to enable risk-informed decision-making, particularly in high-impact activities such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
  • Oversee and validate enterprise risk assessments and mitigation frameworks to ensure effective risk identification and alignment with key business processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Board, Audit & Risk Committee, and Executive Management, providing insights and guidance on critical enterprise risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
  • Foster a strong risk-aware culture by embedding proactive risk thinking and accountability across all organizational levels.
  • Integrate risk frameworks into corporate strategy, ensuring that risk considerations are embedded in planning, execution, and performance measurement.
  • Drive continuous monitoring through structured reporting and early warning systems to anticipate, assess, and address emerging risks effectively.

Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines.

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Enterprise Risk Management, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity at the corporate or group level.
  • Proven track record in leading or providing strategic advisory on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate or investment restructuring initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO ERM) and enterprise-level risk governance models.
  • Strong strategic acumen with the ability to align risk management priorities to organizational objectives and growth strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the capacity to influence and engage C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking, adept at translating complex risk insights into practical, actionable strategies.
  • Proven capability in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing cross-functional risk teams.
  • Experience in regulatory risk management and compliance within complex or evolving business environments is a strong advantage.
