About The Opportunity
Noraa & Co. is hiring on behalf of a confidential, technology-driven organization operating in a high-growth, high-urgency, customer-facing environment.
We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and deeply customer-oriented
Head of Product to set product direction and lead product execution across a significant product organization. This leader will guide a team of approximately 20–40 Product Managers, supported by UI/UX professionals and Product Researchers.
The Head of Product will ensure the organization is building the right things for the right reasons. Beyond roadmap delivery, this role is accountable for establishing a disciplined product culture: understanding the customer and business problem, challenging unclear requests constructively, defining the intended outcome, and measuring whether the product created meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision, Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Define and evolve the product vision, strategy, operating model, and multi-quarter roadmap in line with customer needs, business priorities, market opportunity, and operational realities.
- Translate company strategy into a coherent product portfolio, clear product bets, measurable outcomes, and prioritised delivery plans.
- Balance near-term commercial or operational needs with long-term customer experience, platform scalability, reliability, and product health.
- Make prioritisation and trade-off decisions across new products, features, customer requests, technical dependencies, risk reduction, and product-quality improvements.
Product Organisation Leadership & Coaching
- Lead and develop an organization of approximately 20–40 Product Managers, alongside UI/UX and Product Research professionals.
- Coach and guide both senior and junior Product Managers, raising the quality of product thinking, discovery, prioritisation, stakeholder management, communication, and execution.
- Establish clear product-team structures, ownership models, decision rights, development expectations, and performance standards.
- Build a high-performing culture grounded in curiosity, customer empathy, intellectual honesty, product judgment, accountability, and constructive challenge.
Problem Definition, Discovery & Product Judgment
- Ensure every significant initiative begins with clarity on the why: the customer problem, business problem, user need, desired outcome, constraints, and success metrics.
- Require teams to validate assumptions through customer research, behavioural data, market insight, operational input, and structured experimentation before substantial delivery investment.
- When stakeholder briefs, requests, or expected outcomes are unclear, empower and guide the product organization to pursue the unanswered questions, align stakeholders, and define the right problem before designing a solution.
- Ensure teams distinguish requested features from underlying customer or business needs, so solutions are intentional, evidence-led, and fit for purpose.
- Set standards for problem statements, opportunity assessment, product hypotheses, acceptance criteria, and outcome measurement.
Cross-Functional Delivery & Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner closely with Engineering, UI/UX, Research, Data, Operations, Commercial, Customer Support, Risk, and senior leadership to turn product strategy into effective execution.
- Create alignment among senior stakeholders on product priorities, scope, sequencing, customer impact, risks, and expected outcomes.
- Ensure teams have sufficient context to design the right experience and make well-informed product decisions.
- Remove cross-functional blockers, resolve competing priorities, and communicate product decisions and trade-offs with clarity.
Product Performance, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Define and govern product success metrics, including adoption, engagement, conversion, retention, customer satisfaction, operational performance, reliability, and commercial impact where relevant.
- Ensure each major initiative has clear leading and lagging measures of success, with a plan to review outcomes after launch.
- Use qualitative and quantitative evidence to improve products, discontinue weak assumptions, refine roadmaps, and guide future investment.
- Establish effective launch, post-launch review, and learning practices across the product organization.
Requirements
- Proven senior product leadership experience in a technology, digital-product, platform, fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, consumer-tech, or similarly high-scale environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a sizeable product organization; experience managing Product Managers at different seniority levels is essential.
- Strong ability to coach senior and junior Product Managers in product discovery, strategic thinking, problem definition, prioritisation, stakeholder management, and outcome-driven delivery.
- Track record of defining product strategy, managing complex roadmaps, and delivering customer and commercial outcomes through cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of customer research, UI/UX collaboration, product analytics, experimentation, customer journeys, product funnels, and success metrics.
- Excellent ability to turn ambiguous stakeholder needs into clear product questions, validated opportunities, and well-designed solutions.
- Strong communication and influence skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
- Sound commercial judgment, analytical capability, ownership mindset, and comfort making difficult prioritisation trade-offs.
- Experience operating in a high-urgency, customer-facing technology environment is highly preferred.
