Our client, an established investment platform with a strong focus on private equity, is seeking to appoint a Head of Investments & Value Creation. The role requires a seasoned investment professional with 10+ years of experience across Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Investment Banking, and a proven track record in driving value creation initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full investment lifecycle from origination, evaluation, and execution through to portfolio management and exit
- Identify and assess investment opportunities, conducting thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and developing strategies to maximize returns and mitigate risks
- Drive value creation across portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to unlock growth and improve operational performance
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide strategic guidance, while delivering regular updates and reporting to senior management and investors
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, stay abreast of Southeast Asia market trends, and collaborate internally to execute overall investment strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA/CFA preferred, with min 10 years of experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Investment Banking
- Proven track record in executing investments and driving value creation, with strong understanding of the end-to-end investment lifecycle
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and commercial evaluation skills, with the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage founders, management teams, and investors
- Hands-on, execution-oriented with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset; able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Solid exposure to Southeast Asia markets and industries, with willingness to travel as required
