Head of FP&A + Financial Control

We are seeking a Head of FP&A + Financial Control to build and scale a best-in-class finance function for a high-growth fintech business. This role will own financial planning, group reporting, and controllership, while acting as a strategic partner to business units, driving analytics, insights, and data-driven decision-making

About the Head of FP&A opportunity:

This role will report directly to the CFO and work closely with senior leadership across product, risk, growth, and operations

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, aligned with growth and profitability targets
• Build and maintain robust financial and portfolio models (yield, NPL, credit cost, CAC, LTV)
• Support fundraising, debt structuring, and investor reporting
• Act as a key finance partner to product, risk, growth, and operations teams
• Drive deep-dive analytics on customer behavior, portfolio performance, and unit economics
• Own monthly close, consolidation, and group reporting across entities
• Maintain compliance with IFRS and OJK regulatory requirements
• Lead external audits and ensure strong audit outcomes
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and SOPs
• Build and lead a high-performing FP&A and controllership team in Jakarta

The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting and controllership expertise (Big 4 or equivalent trained) with deep analytical capability and experience operating across both established organizations and high-growth startups.

Skills and experience needed:

• 10-15+ years of experience in FP&A, controllership, or finance leadership roles
• Big 4 or equivalent trained (audit or advisory background preferred)
• Strong experience in fintech, consumer lending, or banking (highly preferred)
• Deep understanding of lending economics (yield, NPL, provisioning, cost of funds)
• Experience in group consolidation, reporting, and audit management
• Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (fluent required)
