Head of Finance and Accounting

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, account reconciliation, month-end and year-end closing, and financial statement preparation.

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards (PSAK) and regulatory requirements.

Oversee financial statement consolidation, accounting policies and procedures, and the implementation of effective internal controls.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, taxation requirements, and regulatory reporting obligations.

Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Monitor financial performance, budget realization, and key financial indicators to support management decision-making.

Lead and develop the accounting and finance team to ensure effective financial operations, reporting quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional accounting certification is an advantage.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Proven experience in the financial services industry, banking, multifinance, microfinance, or other regulated financial institutions.

Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, PSAK, financial statement consolidation, taxation, and internal controls.

Experience in regulatory reporting, audit coordination, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations.

Prior experience in a Big Four accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) will be an advantage.

Experience overseeing accounting and financial processes across multiple business units or geographically dispersed operations is an advantage.

Strong leadership, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with high integrity and attention to detail.
