Social Media Manager Beauty Retail
Job Summary
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and execute our social media strategy across all
platforms, with a strong focus on follower growth, engagement, and brand awareness in the
beauty/skincare category. This role requires a balance of creativity, data-driven execution, and deep
understanding of social trends in beauty retail.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute end-to-end social media strategies to increase followers across all
platforms.
Drive consistent follower growth on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Threads, and
Lemon8.
Identify growth opportunities through content formats, trends, collaborations, and
community engagement.
2. Content Planning & Execution
Plan monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, and retail promotions.
Oversee content creation (short videos, reels, posts, stories, livestream clips).
Ensure brand consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across platforms.
3. Campaign & Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, E-commerce, and KOL teams to support product launches and
sales campaigns.
Coordinate with KOLs/influencers to amplify reach and follower acquisition.
Manage organic and boosted content strategy to maximize visibility.
4. Performance Monitoring & Analytics
Track and analyze social media performance, with a strong focus on follower growth
metrics.
Optimize content based on insights from reach, engagement, saves, shares, and conversion.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
5. Community & Trend Management
Actively manage community interactions (comments, DMs, reposts).
Monitor social trends, competitor activities, and beauty retail benchmarks.
Act fast on viral trends relevant to beauty/skincare.
6. Team & Vendor Management
Manage or collaborate with internal content creators, designers, or agencies.
Ensure timely execution and quality output from all contributors.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum 24 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Experience in beauty/skincare, FMCG, or consumer retail industry is mandatory.
Strong hands-on experience managing multiple social media platforms.
Proven track record of growing followers organically.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms, especially Instagram & TikTok.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
Creative, proactive, and highly trend-aware.
Willing to work WFO and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
