About the Role
We are looking for a Head of AirPay to lead and grow our payment gateway aggregator business.
This role focuses on revenue growth, merchant acquisition, and payment partnerships, while ensuring reliable payment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and transaction volume (TPV) for AirPay.
- Develop and manage payment partnerships (banks, fintechs, e-wallets, aggregators).
- Lead merchant acquisition across SME, enterprise, and platform clients.
- Define pricing, MDR, and commercial models with partners.
- Oversee payment channel integrations (e-wallets, bank transfer, QRIS, credit cards).
- Ensure smooth payment operations, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Work with internal teams (Product, Tech, Finance, Compliance) to support business growth.
- Prepare business performance reports and KPIs for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years experience in payments, fintech, banking, or payment gateway business.
- Proven experience in merchant acquisition and partnership development.
- Has managed or onboarded multiple merchants, or has strong exposure to merchant channels / distribution networks.
- Experience handling SME, enterprise, or platform-based merchants is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of payment gateway models and payment flows (e-wallets, VA, QRIS, cards).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Revenue-driven mindset with hands-on execution ability.
- Fluent in English
