Role Description The Guru Matematika will deliver engaging mathematics instruction to students at various grade levels, following national and international curricula. This full-time, on-site role is based in Harapan Indah, Bekasi and involves preparing lesson plans, teaching in small groups or one-on-one sessions, and using Sinotif's learning methods and materials. The role includes assessing student progress, identifying learning gaps, and providing targeted remediation to strengthen foundational skills. The Guru Matematika will collaborate with other tutors and center staff, participate in internal training, and maintain accurate records of student performance. The educator is expected to support a positive, motivating learning environment and communicate regularly with students and families about progress and goals.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Mathematics aligned with international school curricula, with the ability to explain concepts clearly at elementary, middle, and high school levels.
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or academic coaching, preferably in a classroom, tutoring center, or similar educational setting.
• Skill in lesson planning, classroom management, and delivering interactive, student-centered learning activities.
• Ability to diagnose learning difficulties and provide structured, step-by-step guidance to help students build confidence and mastery.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate students and collaborate with colleagues and families.
• Comfort with using educational technology and digital tools to support learning and track student progress.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; a strong academic record in mathematics is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Jakarta, follow center schedules (including weekends or evenings if required), and participate in ongoing training provided by the company.
• Demonstrated patience, professionalism, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive teaching practices.
