About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Geophysical Analyst in Indonesia to support and enhance our Hydraulic Fracture Monitoring (HFM) initiatives. In this role, you will acquire, process, and interpret microseismic data to deliver accurate, timely results to our internal teams and clients.

You will work closely with teams across Analytics, Data Processing, Field Services, Wireline, Software, Project Management, and moreensuring that our monitoring solutions remain efficient, precise, and industry-leading.

This role is dynamic and fastpaced, requiring rotating shifts and occasional 12hour workdays to support real-time hydraulic fracturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, configure, and optimize project (site) settings and systems
  • Process microseismic data in real-time and post-acquisition, including:
  • Manual and automatic phase picking, Event location
  • Source parameter calculations
  • Velocity model calibration
  • Sensor orientation
  • Monitor system performance and update acquisition parameters as needed
  • Interpret data and prepare technical reports
  • Participate in recurring on-call rotations for large-magnitude event alerts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Provide occasional office-based real-time hydraulic fracturing support (up to 12-hour shifts, typically during the day)
  • Integrate diverse geological and geophysical data streams
  • Conduct pre-job feasibility modeling and prepare associated reports
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings and presentations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirement

  • B.Sc. or higher in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills in English

Experience

  • 03 years of relevant experience
  • Oil & Gas industry background considered an asset

  • Strong understanding of seismological and geophysical principles, including foundational math and physics in geosciences
