General Practitioner – Medical Services Coordinator

Klinik Agatha is a premium Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Clinic dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Practitioner to join our team as a Medical Services Coordinator, supporting clinical operations, quality assurance, and multidisciplinary healthcare coordination.

Position Summary

The Medical Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth clinical operations, maintaining high standards of medical documentation, coordinating healthcare professionals, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. This role combines clinical expertise with operational oversight to enhance patient care and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Coordination

  • Coordinate daily clinical activities among doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure efficient communication and collaboration between departments.
  • Support the implementation of clinical protocols, treatment pathways, and service standards.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues affecting patient care and service delivery.

Medical Records & Documentation

  • Monitor and review patient medical records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely documentation.
  • Follow up with healthcare providers regarding incomplete or missing documentation.
  • Ensure medical records comply with regulatory, accreditation, and clinic requirements.
  • Assist in developing and improving documentation standards and workflows.

Quality Assurance & Accreditation

  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement programs.
  • Support accreditation preparation and compliance initiatives.
  • Monitor clinical quality indicators and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating clinical policies and SOPs.

Patient Care Support

  • Provide medical consultations and patient assessments when required.
  • Support continuity of care by coordinating patient referrals and multidisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Assist in reviewing complex patient cases and ensuring appropriate follow-up.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare regular reports related to clinical operations, medical records compliance, and quality performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support management in implementing strategic clinical and operational projects.

Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor (MD) with a valid medical license (STR).
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical documentation, patient safety, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient clinics, rehabilitation medicine, physiotherapy centers, or hospitals.
  • Experience with accreditation, quality assurance, or healthcare compliance programs.
  • Interest in healthcare operations, clinical governance, and service development.
