As the organization continues to invest in technology and digital capabilities, they are seeking a General Manager, IT to lead the group's corporate IT strategy and oversee technology initiatives across all managed entities
About the General Manager, IT:
- Lead and execute the corporate IT strategy across all entities managed by the group
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, data capabilities, and customer experience
- Manage the group's IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity framework, and technology governance
- Partner with senior leadership and business units to identify technology solutions that support strategic goals
- Ensure strong project governance, budgeting, and risk management for all major technology initiatives
- Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to executive leadership
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of relevant IT experience, including leadership roles within corporate or enterprise environments
Skills and experience needed:
- Proven track record of delivering successful technology projects and leading large-scale IT implementations
- Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation initiatives within complex organisations
- Prior experience within real estate, property development, retail, or related industries is desirable
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT governance frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to communicate technology strategies to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
