Job Description

The People Scout is a boutique executive search firm focused on connecting innovative leaders with Indonesia's most ambitious organizations.

On behalf of our client, they are a fast-growing manufacturing company, with operations based in Subang, West Java. As they scale their operations from the ground up, they are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Affairs Manager to lead the GA function and ensure the company's facilities and office operations run seamlessly from day one.

Role Description

The Affairs Manager will oversee operational and strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies, managing stakeholder relationships, and lobbying for organizational interests. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments and external partners to align goals, mitigate risks, and achieve key objectives. You will also be responsible for tracking regulatory developments, representing the organization in external engagements, and preparing insightful reports. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, government relations, and legal frameworks.
  • Effective project management, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Leadership qualities, collaborative approach, and ability to influence decision-making processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar managerial role, particularly in policy advocacy or government affairs.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
